A 31 year teaching veteran, Mrs. Gaughenbaugh is a product of Catholic education. She currently serves as fifth grade homeroom teacher in addition to chairing the science department and teaching science to middle schoolers in grades 5 through 8. Mrs. Gaughenbaugh has served on many committees over the years, most recently she helped to reorganize the recruitment committee for St. Columba School.

A graduate of Penn State University and Bloomsburg University, Mrs. Brady has degrees in both history and secondary education. In addition to being the sixth grade homeroom teacher, Mrs. Brady is also the social studies teacher for students in fifth through eighth grades. This is her fifth year teaching at St. Columba School. Mrs. Brady also shares her love of other cultures outside of the classroom by moderating the Saint Columba Culture Club. In her free time, Mrs. Brady enjoys taking walks with her dog and traveling to new places. |
Shane Corrigan, a product of Catholic education, is a graduate of Holy Spirit Elementary School and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School. He holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology from Bloomsburg University. Mr. Corrigan is the 7th grade homeroom teacher. In addition to 7th grade Language Arts, he also teaches Math to Grades 5 through 8. Mr. Corrigan and his wife, Nancy, reside in Elysburg with their sons, Gavin and Aiden, and their daughter, Logan. Mr. Corrigan is happy to be a part of the St. Columba School family. |
A graduate of Bloomsburg University, Mr. Fritz holds a B. S. in Elementary Education. He has been accepted into the graduate program by the University of Scranton where he has begun working on a Master of Arts degree in Catholic Theology. Mr. Fritz, the newest member of the Middle School team, teaches departmental Religion to Grades 5 through 8 and Integrated Language Arts (ILA) to his eighth grade homeroom. Mr. Fritz, who grew up in Benton, now lives in Bloomsburg with his wife, Elizabeth and their newborn son, Michael Caleb. In addition to spending quality time with his family, he enjoys outdoor activities, as well as, singing and playing the guitar and piano. Mr. Fritz is an active member of St. Columba Church and volunteers with the parish youth ministry program.
